I am a qualified Accredited Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with 20 years’ experience. I have worked for Place2Be for 13+ years and have my own Private Practice. I have enjoyed working in Garfield School for six years and have the utmost respect and admiration for the staff here. I am very pleased to continue this work with the handpicked team as follows:
Radma Mahmood
Senior Counsellor
I am a qualified accredited adult and child counsellor working in an integrative way which means that my approach is client-centred, attachment-based and interpretive. I work with children in child-led play and in private practice. I work with bereaved children at Grief Encounter and, I offer long-term counselling to adults in private practice who might be coping with the effects of childhood trauma in their present lives. I worked for 2 years in Garfield School on Counselling Placement for Place2Be.
Judy Barber
Parent Counsellor
I am an experienced Bereavement/Loss Counsellor and Psychotherapist. (BACP Accredited). I work with both children and adults, individually and in groups. My therapeutic approach is integrative. I originally trained as a nurse and went on to study psychology at University. I run weekly meditation groups for both adults and children. I am also a retreat leader and a founder member of a children’s bereavement project. I have a Private practice in Barnet.

Volunteer Counsellor
My name is Lisa and I have been in private practice for 10 years working with adults and children, prior to which I was a counsellor for Place2be in several different schools. I am enjoying working in Garfield School.
