Rina Munir – Community Governor

I have been living in New Southgate area over forty years. My children and grandchildren have been to Garfield school. My grandson is a pupil of the Garfield school at the moment. My children and grandchildren always looked forward to going to school. I became a community governor in 2014.

Children achieve best when they are nurtured in a happy and safe environment.   I know that the staff in Garfield School achieve this.

I work in education so have a good knowledge about families & children’s educational needs in my area. I feel privileged to be able to serve my community this way.
